The Nubix 16HD is a 16-channel hybrid DVR that provides real time recording on all channels at once at CIF resolution. It makes a great addition to any mixed surveillance network that contains IP cameras and traditional (analog) CCTV cameras. Perform multiple operations at once without effecting current recordings thanks to pentaplex operation, even if you are doing the tasks remotely. At the core lies a multilingual Linux-based operating system with easy to understand menus and navigation. The OS is easy to upgrade too. Just download updates (when available) from the Nubix support site (no charge), put them on a flash USB drive, and take them to your DVR at your convenience. Remote operation is just as easy since it contains a built-in webserver. If it is connected to the internet you can use a PC equipped with MS Internet Explorer (v7.0 or higher) to review your cameras. All you need is the IP address of the DVR (which you assign during setup) and your password, which you create. Login to your DVR from any remote location, enter your password, and review files or watch live video from any camera. If the PC is equipped with our management software (free & bundled with the DVR) you can access the programming and setup menu and make changes just as if you were standing in front of the DVR. |
