The Nubix 8 is a professional solution for video camera security/surveillance systems numbering 1-8 cameras. It uses MPEG4 compression to display video up to 240 images per second frame rate and record at up to 120 images per second. Search recorded video by time, date, or camera. Record modes include manual, schedule, motion detection and alarm. External USB port is provided as well as RS485, and support for TCP/IP. Upgradeable firmware. An IR remote control is included. Nubix DVRs perform intelligent text insertion. Unlike third party solutions (external POS text generator plus register plus DVR/VCR) which only overlay text on the video, Nubix DVRs can generate a searchable database that can be viewed along with the video. Use the database to perform a text based search for looking up receipts with specific words or numbers on them. This text insertion function is also available during Access Control Integration using Eclipse Access Control software. Your client can keep an eye on each access controlled door and record the users name, department, face and user code. They can later search for any of these details. INVALID entry attempts from de-activated or defective cards can also be recorded, as well as entry attempts made outside of normal entry hours. This Nubix DVR can monitor up to 4 cash registers or POS devices, while other similar DVRs can usually connect to only 1, if they have this feature at all! MODELS AVAILABLE WITH UPS! Nubix DVRs are available with a built-in uninterruptible power supply. This backup power supply not only protects the DVR from power spikes, it can supply power for up to 2 hours in the event of a power failure. The ultimate in surveillance DVR dependability! 64 Channel CMS Client DVR Software Nubix client management software, shown at left, allows simultaneous viewing of up to 64 cameras and connection to a maximum of 256 cameras. These cameras can be physically located anywhere in the world. As long as they are attached to a Nubix 4, 8, or 16-channel DVR that is attached to the internet, your clients can view them and manipulate them. This includes pan/tilt/zoom cameras, speed domes and high speed dome cameras. Program motion detection, set up recording schedules, playback video. Do everything you could do if you were standing in front of the DVR and physically touching the front panel controls. We are constantly developing and refining new client software for the Nubix series and our other DVRs. We never charge for software; it's always free and readily available for download at our support site. Don't get caught in the software trap and buy a DVR from a company that charges for software! That can easily reach $250 or more depending on what capabilities and licensing agreement you require.
