The Nubix 8 and Nubix 16 DVRs provide a professional solution for video camera surveillance systems. Able to connect 1-8 / 1-16 CCTV video cameras (Nubix 8/Nubix 16 models, respectively), they are the perfect solution to medium and larger commercial and residential installations. Both use MPEG4 compression methods to save video input that can be triggered by motion, schedule, event, or manually and can display video at 240 images per second (Real Time) on all channels. Search recorded video by time, date, or camera and watch your video records using either a composite video monitor, VGA monitor, or S-video monitor (spot monitor output also provided).

On the front of each DVR is an external USB port for easy firmware upgrade operations and for quick backups. You'll also find a CD R/W drive (standard) for further backup/archiving operations. Built-in TCP/IP support lets you connect to the internet through LAN or router and watch your DVR video (live or recorded) at remote locations, wherever you can get an internet connection, using our free client software and standard browser software (MS Internet Explorer). These advanced DVRs not only let you watch video at a remote location, you can also access menu functions and change record modes, motion detection grids, and scheduled record modes at will. Both versions of this HOT DVR include an infrared remote control.
