The MAX-GPRO4 4-camera surveillance DVR fits the bill for installations that require high connectivity on a tight budget. It uses H264 video compression for high quality video and small file size, offers multiple recording modes, has 4 alarm/sensor inputs and supports pan/tilt/zoom cameras. The GPRO4 allows users to use a PC to monitor their property or a wireless 3G and 3.5G compatible device like the iPhone, Windows Mobile and other similar devices (passwords are used to limit access to authorized users only). A USB 2.0 port is available for using your own portable devices (like a DVD R/W drive or a portable HDD) to make archival backups or to transport video files in AVI, MPEG4 and/or raw H264 format.
